Edward Malandro is executive vice president of consumer banking for Sun National Bank. In this position, Mr. Malandro leads Sun National Bank's retail bank, which includes more than 50 branches throughout New Jersey. He also oversees Sun Financial Services, LLC, the bank's consumer investment services subsidiary, and Sun Home Loans, the bank’s mortgage company.  Mr. Malandro previously served as the bank’s Director of Marketing.

A seasoned banking professional, Mr. Malandro holds more than 25 years of banking experience.  Prior to joining Sun in 2001, he spent 14 years at First Union National Bank (formerly CoreStates, First Pennsylvania and Philadelphia National Bank) in a variety of progressive management roles, including mass market segment manager, deposit pricing manager, and ultimately, Vice President of deposit services for First Union's northern region.

Under Mr. Malandro’s leadership, Sun’s retail network, as well as Sun Financial Services and Sun Home Loans have experienced robust organic growth in revenue and distribution channels. 

Mr. Malandro earned a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.  In the community, Mr. Malandro serves on the board of the Atlantic City Regional Mainland Chamber of Commerce, a position he has held since 2008.  LinkedIn
